ready, player, start
Score the Gameverse.
Music is the secret heartbeat of every epic quest, and Ready, Player, Start plunges students into that pulse, casting them as game‑audio creatives who learn how soundtracks steer story, amplify emotion and pull players deep into digital worlds.
Their mission: choose a favourite video‑game scene or character, deconstruct its narrative DNA, and craft an original, non‑linear score—digitally composed, recorded and polished—to elevate every jump‑scare, plot twist and victory screen, producing a portfolio‑ready track that showcases real‑world game‑sound design skills.

“I have took away many things, such as what it is like to be a composer in normal music, as well as video game music. I have also took away many BandLab skills that I otherwise wouldn't have known.”
